Summer Term 2017
This term, your child will receive weekly maths and English homework tasks on a Friday to be completed by the following Wednesday. These will be focused on learning that has taken place in maths and English lessons that week. We hope that this will encourage the children to share their learning with you at home. We are also providing an opportunity for the children to complete their homework task at a lunchtime if they require additional support.
Children are still expected to practise their SMIRF target, read regularly and learn their spellings each week.
This is the homework for the whole term. Each week, children should select an activity from the grid. The different tasks reflect the learning across the whole term and involve a variety of skills. Some tasks may take longer than others—hopefully this offers you and your child some flexibility.
Homework should be handed in every Wednesday. Children are expected to practise their SMIRF target, read their reading book regularly (please record when your child reads in their partnership book), children would also benefit from reading online at BUG CLUB. Children also need to practise their weekly spellings.
