This term, your child will receive weekly Maths and English homework tasks on a Friday to be completed by the following Wednesday. These will be focused on learning that has taken place in Maths and English lessons that week. We hope that this will encourage the children to share their learning with you at home. We are also providing an opportunity for the children to complete their homework task at a lunchtime if they require additional support or time.
Children are expected to practise their SMIRF target, Times Table facts, to read regularly and learn their spellings each week. We ask parents and carers to kindly record in the Partnership Book when your child reads. A signature in the Homework section of the Partnership Book page is also appreciated.
Homework Books can be covered by the children and kept in a presentable condition. Any loose sheets MUST be glued in securely please.
Maths tasks should be completed in pencil and English tasks in pencil or blue/black ink, if your child has earnt their handwriting pen. Presentation of homework should be neat and clear.
