The school working day begins at 08.45a.m. and finishes at 3.15 p.m.
EYFS start at 9.00 a.m. and finish at 3.00 p.m. and enter school via the side entrance to the EYFS classrooms
All other children meet in the back playground prior to lining up and entering school with their class teacher.
The children will leave school via the back doors and can be collected from the back playground.
If your child is unwell please call in to the school office as soon as possible on the day.
If your child has an upset stomach they must be absent for 48hours from the last episode.
APPLICATION FOR PUPIL LEAVE OF ABSENCE IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES DURING TERM TIME
This form should be completed by the parent/carer and returned to the school as far in advance as possible and at least 6 weeks before the first date of the period of leave being requested. Parents/carers must obtain the schools permission before making any arrangements for leave in exceptional circumstances, otherwise the absence will be recorded as unauthorised.
No parent/carer can demand leave of absence as of right. The Education regulations state that applications for leave must be made in advance by a parent with whom the child lives and can only be authorised by the school in exceptional circumstances. Each application is considered individually by the school. The following are examples of the criteria for leave of absence, which may be considered as ‘exceptional’: · Service personnel returning from active deployment
School meals cost £2.30 per day, £11.50 per week, payable via ParentPay, at least one week in advance.
If your child is ill, please ring the school office in the morning as early as possible, preferably before 9 a.m.
If your child is suffering with an upset stomach they must be off for 48 hours.
When your child returns to school but still needs prescribed medicine, then this can be administered provided you have signed a request to administer medication form available from the school office.
