May we offer you a warm welcome to our school community. St. Peter’s is a happy school, where the education and the pastoral care of our children are at the forefront of the school’s daily routine.
All of the staff at St. Peter’s have made a photo montage to share with our wonderful families and children. We are missing you all.
Our vision is simple. We want our children ( and adults) to SHINE! St. Peter’s provides this by offering:
Spiritual, caring community
Happy, healthy and safe
Inclusive and respectful
Education to achieve
‘People do not light a lamp and cover it with a bowl or put it under the bed. Instead they put it on a lampstand, so that people will see the light as they come in’. Luke 8 v16.
We want to work with you, as parents, in helping our children enrich their lives academically, spiritually and socially.
Spirituality is something that we feel inside ourselves. It is about awe and wonder, asking questions and being inspired to look beyond ourselves and serve and care for others and nature.
St Peter’s School serves children from the school year in which they are 5 years old, up to age 11. The school has a pupil roll of approximately 285 children, organised currently into eleven classes. We are part of a Multi Academy Trust with partners in the Harrogate area. Click on the logo link below to go directly to the academy website.
As a Church school, we have close links with a number of local churches, especially St. Peter’s C.E. Church, and we aim to reflect Christian values in the everyday life of the school.
